The first few days in the life of your driveway are crucial. Asphalt has a 60-day curing process, so special consideration should be used during the first season.

Please ...

Do not drive on your new driveway for 2 to 3 days.

Do not park on asphalt during the hottest part of the day.

Do not turn your steering wheel when your car is stopped.

Keep motorcycles, bike stands, boat jacks and other sharp objects off the surface.

If you will be parking any items such as campers, boats, etc., please use plywood under the tires. This helps disperse the weight of the tires.

Cracks may appear due to movement in the base and/or subsoil during a freeze or drought. Cracking is normal and cracks are not covered under warranty. Keeping the cracks filled and your driveway seal coated will help your driveway in good condition.

Using a quality seal coat will increase the life and appearance of your driveway. Seal coating your driveway will lock in the existing oils to keep the asphalt flexible, which reduces cracking. It is very important that you use only a quality seal coat. We recommend seal coating your new driveway anytime after 60 days from installation.
